Yamith Cifuentes lives in the rural area of Alto Tablon, about a 30-minute drive from Suaza in the Department of Huila. Señor Cifuentes grows Caturra, Colombia, Castillo and Gesha varietals and has been working with Kyle Bellinger and José Jadir Losada's coffee producer and export company, Osito for years. Kyle and José also have their own farm near Suaza, so it's no wonder they found each other. Our current micro-lot is a selectively harvested and wet-processed Gesha, which our producer held in cherry for 10 hours after harvesting, after which he de-pulped, and then fermented for 30 hours. This is followed by a slow 20-day drying on raised beds.
