The plantation of the Fernandez family is located in the cool northern mountains of Panama, near the town of Boquete, at an altitude of 1,300-1,600 metres above sea level. As expected from the most famous plantations in Panama, the Fernandez family also grows the Gesha variety and takes responsibility for protecting nature (at the beginning of the 2000s, they were among the first in the area to build an ecological processing plant with low-water consumption), but the real specialities of the farm are the old Typica arabica trees, some of which have grown over three meters over the decades. Our coffee is also made from the cherries of these trees and processed using the wet method.
