Guillermo Jaramillo is a third-generation coffee farmer. He and his wife, Luz Marina Moncada, along with their family, run the 21-hectare Finca Buena Vista, where they cultivate 17.4 hectares of coffee (approximately 94,000 trees of Caturra and Colombia varieties). Although the Jaramillo family has a traditional coffee farming background, they now place a strong emphasis on specialty quality. This transition was driven by the friendship between their sons, Gabriel and Juan Saldarriaga. Juan is considered a pioneer in the region for his focus on quality and experimentation. Casino Mocca fans may also know him from his coffee, La Claudina.
