Las Acacias

The plantation named Las Acacias is located near the town of Guática in the Department of Risaralda, at an altitude of 1800 metres above sea level. Our latest Gesha nano-lot was produced by Jhon Edison Velez Hoyos, who previously worked for the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia. Jhon bought the farm 6 years ago and has been continuously developing it ever since. Our producer manages coffee processing and drying on-site, has its own depulper machine and fermentation tanks, and uses foil tent-covered raised beds for drying. In addition to chemical-free organic farming, Jhon’s Gesha plants grow in the shade of banana and avocado trees, which we’ll appreciate in our cup.
