La Cristalina is a producer group that brings together fifty family farms from the villages of Libano, Sinai, Galilea and El Silencio, all located within the borders of Palestina, the southernmost municipality of Huila. La Cristalina producers farm on a total of 200 hectares, and the harvest is almost entirely carried out by families, with only around 70 pickers hired per season. Our crop is typically made up of locally traditional varieties (Caturra, Castillo, Colombia) inherited from previous generations, but today more and more producers are planting popular exotic varieties such as Tabi, Borbón Rosado (Pink Bourbon) or Gesha.
