Irowaki Estate is a family-owned Kenyan coffee plantation in Kiambu County, one of the country’s most renowned coffee-growing regions. The farm is run by Arphaxad Ironjo Kimani, who combines the production of high-quality Arabica coffee with a sustainable farming approach. An altitude of

1,500-1,800 meters above sea level, volcanic red soil, and a favourable climate provide an ideal environment for growing high-quality coffee. The estate grows SL28, SL34 and Batian arabica varieties. The ripe beans, harvested exclusively by hand, are processed using the traditional Kenyan washed

process: hulling, fermentation, washing, steeping, and then slow drying on African-raised beds. There are two harvest periods per year: April to July and October to December. Our coffee comes from the latter main harvest.
