The Sidama region is one of Ethiopia’s most renowned coffee regions, where high altitude, volcanic soil, and the Great Rift Valley’s unique microclimate create ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. Hamasho Buruna is an extremely high-altitude growing area in the Sidama Highlands, where coffee

plantations extend up to 2,300-2,400 meters. The cool climate slows cherry ripening, resulting in denser seeds and more concentrated flavours and acidity. In natural processing, carefully selected, ripe cherries are slowly dried in thin layers on raised beds for 15-20 days. Regular hand-sorting

delivers a clean, elegant cup and an intensely fruity finish.
