The mission of Fincamigos is to research the cultivation of exotic arabica varieties rare in Colombia, all with a sustainable approach that minimizes environmental impact. The plantation is home to such highly sought-after coffee varietals as the low caffeine Laurina which is a naturally occurred

mutation of the Bourbon variety, the large-sized Tabi, a hybrid of the Typica, Bourbon and Timor varieties, the Ethiopian heritage Gesha or the forgotten and re-discovered Sudan Rume of South-Sudanese origin. A blend of the latter three varietals makes up our featured micro-lot, which has been

processed by the wet method: the cherries were selectively hand-harvested, de-pulped and then wet-fermented for 48 hours. After the fermentation, the coffee was washed and finally dried on raised beds protected by foil tents for 8 days.
