SNAP Specialty Coffee built its new washing station in Danche in 2019 reaching out to buy coffee cherries from the smallholders of the nearby Chelbesa Village. They focused on high-quality coffee processing, for example the fermentation tanks of the wet mill were covered with ceramic tiles which they believe to bring out clarity in the coffee as well as help fasten the fermentation by keeping heat inside the ceramic tile covered tanks.
